Waqf is an asset set aside permanently for charitable use. Productive waqf puts that asset to work, through land, property or enterprise, so its income keeps funding the cause.

Can a pesantren sustain itself on waqf?

My doctoral research builds a development model for productive waqf in Islamic boarding schools, aimed at institutional self-reliance and at empowering the communities around them.

    In-depth, applied Arabic courses at Mahad Ali Annuaimy, and Arabic instruction for corporate and institutional participants. Arabic at C2 level, with a bachelor's degree in Arabic language education.

  • Islamic studies and Sharia

    Islamic studies and religion courses at Universitas Indonesia and STIKES KESDAM, grounded in a master's in Islamic law and a master's in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies. Focus on Islamic economics.
